Our Annual WinterFest bowling outing will be on Sunday, Dec 16th @6-8pm at Zone28. Tickets are $13/person, age 3 and under are free. This year, tickets will be sold online. If you would like to pay via cash or check, you can still do so by selecting the appropriate payment option from the online form and then make the payment to the office. MAP Sunday School Annual Junior Jeopardy is scheduled for Sunday, Dec 16th. Qualification quiz will be given on Sunday, Dec 9t. This event will be an internal (MAP-only) event.
There will be two separate competitions. The first one will be among 2nd and 3rd grade students. The second one will be among 4th and 5th grade students. For each competition, we will pick 8 students based on the qualification quiz. These 8 students will form two teams and they will compete against each other.
Participation in this event is mandatory for all students of Islamic Studies grades 2-5. Islamic studies teachers will use qualification quiz scores as an assignment. Below are the study materials for each group:

MAP Sunday School met at the Marshall Elementary School gym on Sunday, Nov 11th. Students, teachers, staff and volunteer parents had a great time. Below are some pictures from the day.

After a 3-week break, MAP Sunday School will meet this Sunday, Nov 11th, @10:50am at the gym of Marshall Elementary School.

Schedule:

• 10:50am - 11:00am: Arrivals and Forming Huddles
• 1100am - 11:20am : Qur'an
• 11:20am - 11:40am : Islamic Studies
• 11:40am - 12:20pm: Seerah Competition Games
• 12:20pm - 12:30pm: Dhur Prayer
• 12:30pm - 1:00pm: Organized play/sports
• 1:00pm: Dismissal

Guidelines:

• Please arrive no later than 10:50am so that we can form the huddles (study circles) before the first class at 11am.
• Please come prepared for the dhur prayer. We want to minimize the use of school facilities for performing wudu.
• Please ensure your child is well-prepared for the Seerah competition. Study materials can be downloaded from here.
• Bring some balls (e.g., basketball, volleyball, soccer) if you have any. In the last part of the school, we will play team sports.
• Since most of the activities will involve playing games and sports, please dress accordingly. Wear sneakers and comfortable clothing for these activities while observing school dress code.
