After a 2-year break due to COVID-19, we are resuming our annual Qur'an competition. Sixth Annual Qur'an Competition is scheduled for April 24th, 2022. Qualifiers will be held on April 17th. Please see the details on the flyer below.

Our annual Sr. Jeopardy Competition will be held on March 27th. The following students qualified to participate in the competition from grade levels 6 and 7:

Our annual Sr. Jeopardy will take place on March 27th, 2022 between MAP students from grades 6 and 7. The qualification quiz will be given on March 20th. All students in levels 6 and 7 are required to take the qualification quiz. Top 8 students will participate in the competition. Study materials and the flyer can be seen below.

Jr. Jeopardy will take place on Sunday, Feb 13th at MAP. There will be two separate competitions. First one will be between two teams selected from 2nd and 3rd graders and the second one will be between teams from 4th and 5th graders. Due to the competition we will have modified school hours. Here is the schedule:

• 11am - 11:30am : First Period
• 11:30am - 12pm : Second Period
• 12pm - 1pm: Jr. Jeopardy
• 1pm - 1:10pm: Zuhr prayer
• 1:10: Dismissal

Due to surging COVID-19 (especially Omicron) cases, we had to close our school for two weeks. We will resume the school this Sunday, January 23rd with some restrictions:

• All students, staff, and volunteers are required to wear masks at all times. No exceptions. CDC recommendation is to use N95 masks.
• No lunch or recess until further notice. We will have back to back classes. New schedule is:
  • 11am-12pm: First Period
  • 12pm-1pm: Second Period
  • 1:05pm: Zuhr prayer
  • 1:15pm: School dismissed
• If your child is tested positive or shows any symptoms or if he/she was in close contact to a COVID positive person please fill out an excused absence form from our web site and don’t send your child to school.

We realize that recess and lunch is an integral part of our school and students really enjoy socializing with their friends, but to be able to keep the school open, we have to minimize all the risks. We hope our families understand the situation.

Since school was closed due to COVID-19, we are pushing back the Jr. Jeopardy dates by two weeks. New dates are:

• Jan 30th: Qualification quiz
• Feb 6th: Jr. Jeopardy competition

We are excited to bring back our Jeopardy competition for students this year. The Junior Jeopardy game for levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 will be held in January and Senior Jeopardy for levels 6 and 7 will be held in March insha'Allah. Junior Jeopardy will take place on Jan 23rd at MAP at 1:00PM. Here are some important details:

• Students are provided with study materials on 4 topics (attached below) and are responsible for reviewing them on a weekly basis. 
• On Jan 16th, all students in Levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 will be given a 10 minute qualification quiz for their respective level and the top 8 scores from levels 2&3 and top 8 scores from levels 4&5  will qualify to represent their levels for the competition on Jan. 23rd. Qualifying students will be assigned into teams of 4.
• On Jan 23rd, the teams of 4 will compete in Jeopardy style competition in front of the school body. Prizes will be awarded.

This year, we will hold our annual Seerah Competition in our school building on Sunday, October 31st. The theme is "Seerah Sports Day". We have 4 subjects to study. Younger grades are responsible from a subset of the subjects. Older grades are responsible from all subjects. See the flyer and study materials below to see which subjects your grade level is responsible from. Due to this event, we will have shortened school day on that day. Here is the schedule:

• 11:00am - 11:30am: First Period (Qur'an)
• 11:35am - 12:05pm: Second Period (Islamic Studies)
• 12:05pm - 12:35pm: Lunch and Recess
• 12:35pm - 1:35pm: Seerah Competition
• 1:35pm - 1:45pm: Zuhr prayer​

Due to ongoing pandemic, we will implement the following changes:

• Since our youth group is pretty big this year, they will hold their classes in the masjid. Therefore, masjid will not be available for parents who are waiting for their kids. Please use the social hall for that.
• Zuhr prayer is an essential part of our school schedule, but we have to give up from social distancing requirements to accommodate 100+ students in the masjid at the same time. Therefore, we will hold two separate zuhr prayers this year. The first prayer will be at 1:25pm for older grades (levels 5, 6, 7, and youth group) and the second prayer will be at the usual time (1:35pm) for the younger grades. We ask that older grades leave the masjid area as soon as they are done with the prayers (either go outside or to the social hall) to make room for the younger grades. All teachers are required to accompany their students throughout the prayer.
• We will not have assembly this semester for the same reason
• We will still hold lunch and recess as before, but we will serve the lunch in the school building for those classes located in the school building. Youth group and level 5 will use the social hall for lunch. Lunch is the only time students are allowed to remove their masks. Therefore, we ask them to keep their distances while eating.
• Here is the new school schedule:
  • 10:55am : students and teachers report to the classrooms
  • 11am - 12pm: First period (Qur’an)
  • 12pm- 12:35pm: Lunch and recess
  • 12:35pm - 1:35pm: Second period (Islamic studies)
  • 1:25pm: Zuhr prayer for Grades 5, 6, 7, and Youth Group
  • 1:35pm: Zuhr prayer for Grades KG, 1, 2, 3, 4
  • 1:45pm: School is dismissed

Registrations for the 2021-2022 school year has started. Registrations will be done online. Last day to register is Friday, Aug 27th. Book sales will be done on the first day of the school (Sep 12th) @ 10am. Please follow the instructions on our parents page or the school app to complete your registration.

• Tuition is $100/semester for the first child. Each additional sibling is $90/semester.
• If you have not renewed your MAP membership, please do so before registering your child
• Our grade levels are KG through level 7 and youth group. To register, students must be born before Sep 1st, 2016.
