Below are the instructions on how to join weekly Zoom sessions for our Sunday school.
- All students will dial into the same zoom session (i.e., same meeting Id and password). After the session starts, we will automatically assign them to their proper virtual classrooms based on the Zoom account (email address) each student is calling from. Therefore, parents are required to fill out a form to let us know which zoom account each of their students will use to dial in every week. Here is the link to the form. Please fill out one form per student by Saturday (Sep 12) midnight. This is only required for the first week. We will use the same information for the remainder of the school year.
- If you have more than one student, you need a separate Zoom account and a separate device (laptop, tablet, phone) per student to dial into the school sessions. Students from the same household cannot share a single Zoom session unless they are in the same grade level. Zoom accounts are free to create.
- Once your child dials into the school session, please do NOT disconnect until the school day is over (i.e., keep the Zoom session on during the breaks). This will minimize the down time.
- Here is the school schedule for every Sunday:
- 10:50am Zoom session starts, students and teachers join
- 10:55am Qur'an recitation
- 10:57am Students are sent to their virtual classrooms
- 11:00am Qur'an class starts, attendance taken
- 11:45am Break (Zoom session stays open)
- 12:00pm Islamic Studies class starts, attendance taken
- 12:45pm Virtual classrooms end, students are back to the main room
- 12:47pm Announcements
- 12:50pm School adjourns

- There will also be a meeting invite sent to parents every week (on Saturday)
- The etiquettes of the Zoom sessions
- Please make sure your video is ON and sound is OFF (muted) at all times
- Your (student's) name and grade level must be set as the name (either in the account settings or manually set after joining the session).
- Your zoom session needs to stay active until school adjourns. Please do not try to leave and re-connect.
- Please join on time (at 10:50am). Since we will be breaking into classrooms, late joiners will be difficult to handle.
